Host a Fundraiser For Us

If you are interested in organizing and hosting an event of your own in support of the Health Care Foundation, or any hospital program we raise money for, get in touch!

Each third party event is quickly reviewed and approved by the Foundation on an individual basis.

Once approved, we have important policies and tips that will help you organize and plan your event.


We Can Provide the Following Assistance Once Your Event Has Been Approved:

  • Event promotion on the Health Care Foundation website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
  • Event promotion on digital screens throughout five Eastern Health adult hospitals and health centres.
  • Access to JustGiving.com fundraising platform, so you can set up your own easy-to-use fundraising page.
  • Additional promotion of your event by the Health Care Foundation will be discussed on a per event basis.
  • As appropriate, a representative of the Health Care Foundation may be available to attend your event.
  • We can issue tax receipts as applicable to donations over $10.
  • We may be able to assist you with developing promotional materials for your event.
  • We can provide a letter of support validating the authenticity of the event.
  • We can assist with a gaming license, so you can have raffles, lotteries, etc.
