February 28, 2025 – St. John’s, N.L. – The Health Care Foundation is pleased to launch the 2025 Health Care Foundation Home Lottery, featuring the $1.3 million Oceanview Grand Prize Showhome. Proceeds from the lottery will fund next-generation medical equipment and technology, directly enhancing patient care for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
“Since introducing our Home Lottery program in 2008, we have raised over $13 million in net revenue to enhance the delivery of care and support the vital work of our health care teams,” said Paul Snow, President and Chief Executive Officer, Health Care Foundation. “The continued generosity of our community allows us to invest in leading-edge technology and innovation that directly benefit patients and their families, right here at home.”
The Grand Prize Showhome, custom-built by MacIntyre Homes, offers over 3,900 square feet of Scandinavian-inspired design in King Fisher Estates. Featuring ENERGY STAR® Certification for exceptional efficiency, the home brings together luxury and sustainability. The main floor includes multiple living spaces, centred around an elegant three-sided fireplace. A spacious two-story den provides a refined retreat, while a private sauna adds to the home’s spa-like atmosphere. The Grand Prize Showhome is awarded fully furnished, professionally decorated, and landscaped, along with $50,000 cash. The Showhome is open to the public during designated viewing hours.
Purchasing tickets before April 11 increases the chance of winning.
