Help Bring Robotic-Assisted Surgery to Newfoundland and Labrador

The Health Care Foundation has launched an $8 million fundraising campaign to bring robotic-assisted surgery to our province— an investment that will offer greater precision, faster recovery times, and fewer complications for patients who need it most.

Rooted in donor-driven innovation, this transformative initiative will expand access to advanced surgical care, strengthen our healthcare system, and help train the next generation of surgeons, right here at home.

With your support, we will:

  • acquire a dual-console Da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted surgical system, to be based at the province’s leading tertiary care and teaching hospital.

  • provide specialized training for surgical teams to fully leverage this technology.

  • create hands-on learning opportunities for future medical professionals.

  • support over 500 complex surgeries each year— helping more patients receive the care they need without leaving the province.

Philanthropy will make this possible.
