The Health Care Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of our province’s seniors and long-term care residents.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, every resident at Pleasant View Towers, the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, and the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre on Bell Island received a Christmas gift last year. Beyond these festive presents, your donations also funded comfort items that bring happiness and enrichment year-round, including the OBIE—a unique, interactive gaming system that promotes physical activity, sensory engagement, and social interaction among residents, staff, and visitors.
With your support, we’re excited to bring Christmas joy to our residents once again in 2024. Your donation to Santa for a Senior will help us purchase essential comfort items and gifts that spread warmth and holiday cheer to our seniors in long-term care. Together, we can make Christmas morning extra special and ensure that each resident experiences the magic of the holiday season.
