Host a Fundraiser for Health Care

A fundraiser can start with something simple, a bake sale, a community event, a fitness challenge, a celebration, or an idea that is completely your own.

When you fundraise in support of the Health Care Foundation, you bring your friends, family, colleagues, customers, or community together to help make better health care possible.

Your gift gives patients and health care teams access to equipment, technology, programs, comfort and innovation that can change lives.

Choose to support an area of health care that matters to you, honour someone special, rally your workplace or community, or simply turn something you love doing into something that gives back.

We're Here to Help

All community and third-party fundraisers are reviewed and approved by the Health Care Foundation. Once your fundraiser is approved, our team can help you get started and make your event a success.

Depending on your fundraiser, we may be able to provide:

• Promotion through Health Care Foundation digital and social media channels
• Promotion on digital screens within participating adult hospitals and health centres
• Access to an easy-to-use online fundraising platform
• Guidance and tips for planning your fundraiser
• Assistance with promotional materials
• A letter of support confirming your fundraiser is being held in support of the Health Care Foundation
• Charitable tax receipts for eligible donations
• Assistance with applicable gaming licences for raffles, lotteries and other gaming activities
• A Health Care Foundation representative to attend your event, when appropriate and available

Additional promotional and event support will be considered based on the nature and scope of each fundraiser.
