Giving your time is a meaningful way to make a difference in health care, right here at home.

Volunteers are an important part of the Health Care Foundation community. They help bring fundraising events to life, support our work behind the scenes, lend their expertise to committees and initiatives, and help us connect with donors, partners, and the community.

Whether you have a few hours to give, are looking for an ongoing opportunity, want to build new skills, or have experience and expertise to share, there are many ways to get involved.

Your time and talents help make more possible for health care.

Volunteer at The Shop

Be part of a welcoming space at the heart of the Health Sciences Centre. The Shop offers gifts, everyday essentials, health and wellness products, and more for patients, visitors, and staff. Best of all, proceeds are reinvested into health care through the Health Care Foundation.
Helping Hands Hero

Helping Hands volunteers support the day-to-day work of the Health Care Foundation through a variety of administrative and organizational activities. Volunteers may help prepare materials, assist with mailings, organize supplies, or distribute Foundation information.
Volunteer at an Event

Help us bring some of our biggest fundraising events and community initiatives to life. From Brunch with the Bags and the Gurney Cup to Row4Heart and other community activities, volunteers play an important role in creating memorable experiences for guests and supporters.
Join a Committee

Bring your ideas, experience, and connections to the table. Volunteer committee members work alongside Health Care Foundation staff, fellow volunteers, and community partners to help strengthen our events, fundraising initiatives, and programs.
