HOPE Program
Supporting Hope, Healing and Recovery

Recovery from an eating disorder can be a complex journey — and having access to specialized, compassionate care can make an important difference. The HOPE Program is a provincial intensive outpatient eating disorder program delivered by NL Health Services. Located at the Renata Elizabeth Withers Centre for HOPE in St. John’s, the program provides specialized treatment in a supportive environment for individuals living with eating disorders and their families. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the HOPE Program helps individuals develop healthier relationships with food, strengthen coping strategies, improve self-worth and body esteem, and build skills that support recovery. Treatment includes group-based therapy as well as individual support when appropriate.

Your Gift Gives Hope

Through the generosity of donors, the Health Care Foundation helps provide funding that enhances the care, environment and resources available to individuals participating in the HOPE Program. Philanthropic support can help fund priority needs that complement clinical care and create a welcoming, therapeutic environment where individuals can focus on recovery.

Your gift can help give patients and families additional resources, comfort and support as they move forward on their journey toward recovery.
