The Christmas season normally brings family and friends together to celebrate and enjoy traditions. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic will impact another Christmas for our seniors and long-term care residents living at Pleasant View Towers and the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion.

COVID-19 continues to cause extra stress and anxiety for our residents. Travel and visitor restrictions mean many residents have limited access to their families and loved ones. We want to help make the holidays happier for our seniors and long term care residents by making sure each person has a gift to open on Christmas morning, and we need your help.

The Health Care Foundation has always been there for our province’s seniors and long-term care residents. With your support, we will purchase comfort items and necessities that bring joy and Christmas cheer to our residents. Previously, we’ve gifted pajamas, blankets, slippers, games, books, personal care and pampering items. Your “Santa for a Senior” donation can help make Christmas a little merrier for our residents in long term care.

Your donation will ensure residents have a special present to open on December 25th – because we all deserve to feel the magic of Christmas.
